Studio

We are happy to welcome you at our online service. At Mastering Studio Aeternum we could easily mixing and mastering your tracks and albums for you and your music band. We have special offers for musical labels and recording studios as well.

We wouldn’t want to waste your time explaining all the details of mixing and mastering. For your understanding, we will list some of the components necessary for competitive commercial and modern sound of any track on any acoustic system! Among main characteristics of the sound are density, warmth, frequency balance, detail of sound, stereo enhancement, tape saturation, dimensions, correct compression, confident loudness and many others. All these components including our knowledge and experience we put into our work.

The easiest way to feel the difference of the sound before and after we worked with it is to hear the sound. You can listen to our works on “Examples” page, but it will definately help you if you could stop by our studio for sound check of the track. Or you could send it to us, in format described in “Order” section and within two or three calendar days (or even earlier) we will contact you and can also send a one minute length demo-master of your track. Now how does that sound?

Preparation of tracks for mixing, mastering:

To receive good result of the mixing or mastering it is necessary to prepare tracks:

- FOR MIXING

A. All paths of a mix remain unchanged, with your processing. You have to disconnect all processing in the project on a master out and to a lower target level of a signal to -6db to avoid overloads (clipping) on an out. You have to export tracks in .WAV or .AIFF formats with a bit depth of 32 bit (float) and sample rate at 44.1 kHz. If you do not have an opportunity to export a track to the necessary format, you can do it with a bit depth of 16 or 24 bit and sample rate from 44.1 kHz to 192 kHz.

B. All paths of a mix should be “dry” – without processing effects, compression, and other destructive changes.

- FOR MASTERING

The track shouldn’t be compressed and limited, for this purpose it is necessary to disconnect all processing on a master out, to avoid overloads (clipping) on an out, you should use a lower target level of a signal -6db. You have to export a track in .WAV or .AIFF format with a bit depth of 32 bit (float) and sample rate 44.1 kHz. If you do not have an ability to export a track into the necessary format, use bit depth 16 or 24 bit and sample rate from 44.1 kHz to 192 kHz.
